Octave Trade Fund, Ltd
The Octave Trade Fund invests in inventory finance, trade finance, commodity finance and other asset-backed securities in the agriculture, natural resource, transportation and financial services industries, among others. Geographically, the Fund invests on a global basis with the primary focus on emerging markets.

Managed Account (A): Structured Trade Finance
Managed Account (A) invests in a portfolio of structured trade finance transactions originated and serviced by a major international bank based in the EU. The portfolio is diversified, globally, as well as by counter-party and commodity. Underlying trade transactions are generally short term in nature ranging from 30 to 180 days and yields an average return of 10% net of fees.

Managed Account (B): Commodity Finance
Managed Account (B) invests in a portfolio of structured commodity finance transactions originated and serviced by a major international bank based in the EU. The portfolio is diversified, globally, as well as by counter-party and commodity. Underlying commodity export transactions are generally medium to long term in nature ranging from 2 to 7 years with principal amortizations, monthly, quarterly or semi-annually. Yields average in the range of 12% to 14% annually net of fees with very little correlation to the major market indeces.
