Reinier has more than thirty years of experience in international banking, investment and risk management and e-commerce. He has managed multi-billion dollar business units with full profit and loss accountability in three major world markets. As the regional head of North and South America for Rabobank International based in New York, he re-focused the organization on its customers and achieved outstanding profitability growth. Reinier previously managed Nedship Bank, expanding internationally and tripling the net profit over a period of five years. Prior to that, Reinier worked for ABN Amro, where he served as Regional Treasurer for four years for Europe (based in Amsterdam) and also for the Far East (based in Tokyo). He held a variety of other positions with ABN Amro before that, becoming an early pioneer in the derivatives world in the early 1980’s while working for their subsidiary, LaSalle National Bank in Chicago. After graduating, Reinier served in the Dutch Green Berets as a Second Lieutenant for a year and a half. He received his MBA from Thunderbird Graduate School in Arizona and his BBA from the University of Oregon. Reinier is a graduate of the Netherlands School of Business, Nijenrode.
